ADVANCED-LEVEL CLASS – FUNERAL PREPARATION AND PASTORAL CARE

Location: Westwood Christian Church 424 Wheatley Road Ashland, Kentucky

Course Description:

This course equips chaplains with essential tools and skills to support individuals and families during times of loss.

Participants will learn how to:

• Assist with delivering death notifications
• Plan and conduct funerals for both Line-of-Duty Deaths (LODD) and non-LODD situations
• Engage compassionately and effectively with grieving families

Additional Info: Food will be provided for all attendees. This class is free to attend.
