Pastoral Crisis Intervention

Pastoral Crisis Intervention may be thought of as the integration of psychological crisis intervention with pastoral perspectives and resources. This course is designed to train participants in the use of psychological trauma recognition and intervention techniques, in conjunction with pastoral care, to assist people who are facing crisis situations. This program does not provide instruction on spirituality or theology.

The course will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT each day.

Tuition is $225 and includes all required student materials.

This course will be hosted by the Kentucky Federation of Fire Chaplains, and meets the CISM portion of the requirements for Kentucky certification as a first responder chaplain.
