STATE FIRE CHAPLAIN REQUIREMENTS

• Complete KFFC Basic Chaplain Course;
• Complete Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) training (16 hours);
• Letter of appointment from your fire chief on station letterhead;
• Letter from church/synagogue/temple on organizations letterhead stating you are in good standing;
• Complete KFFC application;•Complete Background Check Form;
• Pay application fee $25

MAINTAINING STATE CERTIFICATION

• Must attend fourteen (14) hours of continuing
• education per year;
• Remain active in f ire service;
• Remain active in your church;
• Pay annual dues: $25
